Enteral Feeding Pump

The EnteraLite Infinity enteral feeding pump allows both pediatric and adult tube fed patients the ability to maintain a normal lifestyle, resulting in increased compliance with prescribed feeding regimens.

Enteral Nutrition

Enteral (tube feeding) therapy is available for patients whose structures that normally permit food to reach the small bowel are either diseased or nonfunctioning.

A tube is placed in the stomach (Gastrostomy tube/G-tube) or the intestinal tract below the stomach (Jejunostomytube/J-tube). A tube may also be placed in the nose, and this is called a nasogastric tube (NG tube). This allows patients to receive the necessary nutrition and water needed to maintain weight, hydration and strength. There are three types of feeding methods: syringe (bolus) feedings, gravity feeding, and pump feeding. The doctor, along with a dietitian will determine your enteral nutrition for home.

Infusion, LLC’s clinical staff will monitor each patient’s progress and will provide recommendations in case the patient experiences complications such as weight gain/loss, GI side effects, or any other complication. GI side effects may include diarrhea, constipation, or GI upset. Whether a child or an adult, our nutritional team will develop an individualized care plan to meet the needs of the patient.
